...As a guest artist and a lecturer he regularly participates in numerous festivals such as the Dundee Guitar Festival in Scotland, Rassegna Chitaristica Internazionale in Italy, Kunstfest in Germany, Rencontres de la Guitare in Paris, Pazailslis Music Festival in Lithuania, Tokyo Guitar Festival and many others. He graduated with honours from the Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland, continuing his education until 2003 as a master student, at the Franz Liszt Hochschule für Musik in Weimar, under tutelage of Prof. Monika Rost and Prof. Thomas Müller-Pering. In 2006 Tomasz, Hans Wilhelm Kaufmann, and David Pavlovits met each other the first time at the Szczawno festival under the direction of Piotr Zaleski. Besides teaching they performed together the Concerto BWV 1060 by J.S. Bach in the final concert of the festival together with the festival guitar orchestra. At the Rotenburg Guitar Week 2008 Tomasz will give a recital together with Magdalena Rozanska, violin as the Duo Discordi. And of course we will play again the Bach concerto! This time with the Guitar Orchestra of the Rotenburg Guitar Week. And maybe we will be also with Magdalena as a soloist. We work on it. See also website Tomasz Zawierucha |
